ENABLING THE THIRD SECTOR TO DELIVER QUALITY TRAINING PROGRAMMES
Providing sustainable funding to support disadvantaged learners.
WHO ARE WE?
V Learning Network
V Learning Network is a charitable company set up in 2001 as a consortium for partners within the Third Sector in Devon and Cornwall. We currently work with four charities and Community Interest Groups offering training and qualifications across Devon and Cornwall.
The primary role of V Learning Network up until this August was to train vulnerable adults across Devon and Cornwall. Currently, we work with our partners to enable the Third Sector to deliver high-quality training by providing sustainable funding for 16-18. This funding enables our partners to offer a range of training opportunities and deliver quality programmes within the communities of Devon and Cornwall.
V Learning Network also delivers high-quality in-house training and supports the development of trainers. We also offer learners the opportunity to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan for our Level 3 and Level 4 courses.
Students can also take advantage of our digital learning platform “SILO”, enabling students to study at times convenient to their lifestyles.
Funding for 16-18 and Advanced Learner Loans is provided through the Educational Skills Funding Agency.
Our Mission Statement
To provide people in Devon and Cornwall with the opportunity to develop as individuals by delivering high quality person centred training and education.
Vision
Together inspiring a better future for learners. A sector without barriers in education and training.
Values
VLN employees and trustees all share the values of honesty, integrity, transparency, commitment, equality, respect, flexibility and enthusiasm.
These values are demonstrated through behaviours like making sure learners are happy, caring about fellow employees, working as a team, delivering high standards, paying attention to every detail, being proactive to change and having an emotional commitment to VLN.
