New Tomorrow

New Tomorrow is a one to one, support programme for people ready to find work, or those looking to take the first steps towards employment. The programme is exclusively for people living in and around Launceston –  we are also based in Launceston, offering you convenience and local knowledge. New Tomorrow provides the opportunity to work with a mentor (for weeks, months or more than a year) to discuss, plan and complete steps that will start your journey, moving forwards with your life.  The mentors are here to offer support and guidance, exploring your future goals and discussing any problems or barriers you’re currently facing, or have faced in the past.

Foundations for Work

The Foundations 4 Work Project covers the North Cornwall area and provides real local help for local people, by offering tailored, one-to-one support delivered by our highly skilled Work Mentors.  Support might include helping clients to motivate themselves and build their confidence and self-esteem, to helping with CV writing and job applications. It might also include help with gaining qualifications or volunteering.  The Foundations for Work service seeks to empower clients with the self-belief, skills, motivation and confidence to enable them to progress into employment, self-employment or further training/education and build a brighter future for themselves.

This service is FREE to anyone in the North Cornwall area who has the right to live and work in the UK and who are currently unemployed, economically inactive, or who are on a zero-hours contract whereby they currently have no work. Foundations for Work are able to also offer help with travel and childcare costs.
